I created ChairYoga.blog because I watched my grandmother struggle every morning just to get out of her chair. She had arthritis in both knees, and traditional yoga classes were simply out of the question for her. That’s when I started researching chair-based exercises — and the results I saw in her mobility within just a few weeks convinced me this needed to reach more people.
My name is Kartik Sharma. I hold a Diploma in nutrition and Health Education from IGNOU (December 2024) and have spent the last 3 years focused specifically on senior wellness, gentle movement, and pain management through accessible exercise.
ChairYoga.blog exists for one simple reason: millions of adults over 60 want to stay active, reduce pain, and move freely — but most yoga content out there is designed for young, flexible people. Everything on this site is built around what actually works for real seniors at home, with a chair as their only equipment.
