About Me

Hi, I’m Kartik Sharma, the founder of ChairYoga.blog — a space where wellness meets simplicity. My mission is to make yoga accessible, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, especially seniors and beginners who may find traditional yoga difficult.

🌿 My Journey

I hold a Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and have over 3 years of experience in wellness blogging and content writing. With a background in health and a passion for movement, I created ChairYoga.blog to share evidence-based techniques that truly help people — no matter their age, fitness level, or mobility.

🧘 Why Chair Yoga?

Yoga doesn’t have to be complicated, physically demanding, or limited to the mat. Chair yoga offers a gentle, effective, and safe way to move the body — especially for:

  • Older adults and seniors
  • Office workers with long sitting hours
  • People recovering from injury or living with chronic pain
  • Beginners starting their wellness journey

Even from a chair, you can improve flexibility, balance, and strength while reducing stress and supporting long-term health.

🔍 What You’ll Find on ChairYoga.blog

  • ✅ Step-by-step chair yoga poses with clear benefits
  • ✅ Short routines for flexibility, relaxation, strength, and posture
  • ✅ Targeted practices for conditions like arthritis, diabetes, back pain, and COPD
  • ✅ Practical wellness tips rooted in nutrition and health education
  • Downloadable PDFs, visuals, and beginner-friendly resources

Everything I publish is designed to be safe, science-backed, and supportive — with a focus on real-life needs of seniors, caregivers, and anyone seeking gentle movement.

📚 My Background

  • 🎓 Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education – IGNOU
  • ✍️ 3+ years in wellness blogging & health content writing
  • 💻 Skilled at simplifying wellness science into practical routines
  • 🧘 Passionate about making yoga accessible from the chair

I believe movement should never be out of reach. Healing can begin wherever you are — at home, at your desk, or seated in a chair.
